Desafíos UC coordinates interdisciplinary capabilities to address priority issues in Chile and the world.
About the project
It mobilizes research, creation, innovation, advanced training, and transfer through work cycles centered on two or three strategic challenges, such as climate change, aging, education, poverty, or artificial intelligence. Its purpose is to connect UC knowledge with the country’s real needs, generating evidence, pilots, alliances, and solutions with public and territorial impact.

Applied interdisciplinarity
It brings together different faculties and disciplines to build comprehensive responses to problems that no single area can solve on its own.

It promotes pilots, case studies, transfer, and evaluation so that solutions generate replicable and scalable learning.
